Pork-Apple Recipes

Pork-Apple Recipes are endless because this pairing of foods is one of the most popular in the world.

There are so many wonderful cuts of pork to work with, not the least of which are pork chops, boneless pork loin, and pork tenderloin. If we haven't already, we will have pork loin recipes and many ways to cook pork chops, too. People are beginning to look at "the other white meat" as a healthier choice than in the past.

Back in the day, to quote Rachael Ray, pork roasts and chops were very fatty. Today, most cuts can be purchased not only boneless, but trimmed of nearly all the fat. In moderation, this meat is a wonderful source of protein.

Sarah Kittell of the National Pork Council stated in a 2007 article that "including protein from lean sources of pork in your diet could help you retain more lean body mass, which includes muscle, while losing weight."

I'm sure we'll come up with a variety of cuts that illustrate how well apples coordinate with all of them.

You will find some delectable recipes here for the many ways to cook pork.
