This is truly a Favorite Fruit Salad in our house. It’s such an adaptable dish...if you happen to love peaches, by all means, add some. Other than apples, I can’t imagine that the salad would mind you leaving out one of the other fruits either. I think trying to eliminate the apples might cause a little consternation, however. After all, this is an apple recipe site. This creamy fruit salad recipe has shown up at many a buffet, but is not a bit intimidated by a sit-down dinner. You can serve it individually on a bed of mixed greens, and it makes a beautiful presentation.
The fruit salad dressing is a blend of sour cream, orange juice concentrate and honey and greatly compliments any type of fruit or combination of fruits. If you like the dressing a little sweeter, just adjust the amount of honey.
This easy fruit salad is especially refreshing in the warm weather, but it’s also a good choice to accompany ham, beef, fish, or pork any time. I hope you’ll give it a try.
