Crunchy Apple Crisp
I got this recipe out of a church cookbook several years ago and it has been a favorite ever since.
1/2 c. water
6 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
7 Tbsp. melted butter
1/2 tsp. salt
Whipped cream or ice cream
Pour water over apples in an 8 inch pan. Combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
