Our Apple Raisin Sauce is super easy to make and the taste is absolutely perfect with ham and pork meals.
Although there are no spices called for, this is an excellent choice of the sauces for ham and definitely is seasoned perfectly with the addition of the apple butter and applesauce, too...if you choose the cinnamon-flavored variety.
Of the many sauces for pork, this one is particularly compatible. Pork seems to seek out a sauce that is sweet, although sometimes a nice, roast pork goes equally well with a basic gravy. I would encourage you to choose your own favorites.
When refrigerated, the sauce even reaches a nice consistency and might be spread on toast or an English muffin. I'm sure you'll find many uses for this versatile sauce...both warm and cold.
As you can see from the picture above, when put into decorative jars, this sauce can be packaged nicely and given as a little hostess gift.
