I can hardly believe another month has gone by and here we are into June. Around here, June is strawberry-picking month and, of course, with that comes the traditional shortcake.

It's possible that our recipe for Apple Cheddar Shortcake could rival the traditional strawberry shortcake this summer. I think the plain strawberry version will have real cause to worry. See if you don't agree with us...give the apple version a try.

This month is also a big occasion for all the Dads...Father's Day is, of course, June 21st this year, so I wish all the fathers, father figures and role models you may have in your family or your life, a wonderful, restful, and Happy Father's Day.

I hope you'll find many recipes from our site that will go well with whatever kind of Father's Day Celebration you may be planning or planning to attend.

As always, I thank you so much for continuing to visit our site and for "spreading the word" about "Apple Recipes with Good Taste." You're doing a great job because from month to month we are welcoming new friends from all corners of the world. It's so exciting to think that the Internet has made the world so small and friendly.

Recent Additions to our
“Apple Recipes” website

We've been diligently adding new recipes to our site, so just in case you haven't visited in a short while, I thought I'd bring you up-to-date by previewing a few.

As usual, when you click on each link or picture for the recipes, the page will open in a new window. Just "X" out of that page whenever you want to return to the newsletter.

Apple Pie Cupcakes are somewhat like having two desserts in one...cupcakes and apple pie. Our vanilla buttercream steps up to
provide the look of "whipped cream," if you will, and a professional finish.

Apple Topped Pork Chops is a unique main dish because it blends some unlikely flavors together for a great-tasting experience.

Apple Cheddar Shortcake is a delicious addition to summer fare. I think it will give those berry shortcakes something to think about.


Refreshing Apple Salad is a great crowd pleaser. It can be doubled or tripled very nicely and is a great addition to any occasion.
