Apple Blossom Times

Your Monthly E-zine from Apple Recipes With Good Taste

Hello,

First of all, I'd like to assure you that there are no April Fools' jokes connected with this e-zine. My message is way too heartfelt this year for that sort of thing. I can't vouch for next year's goings-on, however.

Thanks to you, and our other subscribers and visitors to our site, "Apple Recipes" has reached this milestone...our very first edition of Apple Blossom Times.

For some of us, we are now into the beautiful season of spring, and that brings to mind a rebirth of all the lovely flowers, shrubs, and lawns. How appropriate that today is the birth of our newsletter.

If you enjoy this e-zine, please forward it to your friends and relatives. Nothing puts the "stamp of approval" on our site like a good word from you and a copy of our newsletter to anyone you feel might be interested in apple recipes.

Thank you so much,
Penny

Recent Additions to our
“Apple Recipes” website

If you haven’t dropped by the site recently, I thought I’d give you an idea of what recipes have been added in some of the categories.

When you click on each link or picture for the four recipes, the page will open in a new window. Just "X" out of that page whenever you want to return to the newsletter.

Light Apple Bread is a great addition to our "Breads." It's wonderfully-moist and makes great toast.

Favorite Fruit Salad is an eye-pleasing, refreshing salad that is a super accompaniment to many meals.

Apple-Chicken-Rice is another tasty main dish with apples that requires just a green veggie or salad to set it off nicely.

Apple Cheesecake is one absolutely decadent dessert. If you love cheesecake, this is the one for you.

Fun Facts About Apples

From our friends at
Ontelaunee Orchards
Leesport, PA

  • If you grew 100 apple trees from the seeds of only one tree, they would all be different.

  • Apples are a member of the rose family.

  • 25 percent of an apple's volume is air. That is why they float.

A few "apple things" to think about.
More next month.

Featured Easter Recipes
for Subscribers only.

I have put together in "pdf form" three unique recipes just for you. They will not appear on the "Apple Recipes" website. You will need an Adobe Reader to view them, but most people have that program. If not, you are welcome to pick up a free copy here.

I appreciate our newsletter subscribers and believe they should receive "something special." The recipes that you, and anyone you forward this e-zine to, will be able to download are:

  • Caramel-Apple Trifle

  • Applesauce Biscuits

  • Apple-Pecan Dip

I hope you will enjoy them time after time. Please pick up your copy of "Apple Recipes Just for You" here.

Note from Penny

I hope you have a wonderful month. Look for a new recipe-submission form coming to our site. Hopefully, you have some absolutely delicious recipes you would like to share with us.

As always, our recipe base will be growing and growing, so visit as often as you can. Looking forward to your visits.
